Tony served 12 years as a British Commando Soldier working all over the world, the desert arctic and jungle with operational tours of duty in Iraq and Northern Ireland. He had a burning desire for the arts and decided to pursue a career in Musical Theatre! After leaving the forces he attended the popular Musicians institute music school in Hollywood Los Angeles on their associates degree program. A teacher at the school said to him, “You’ve left it a bit late to study music”. Defying all odds and with his Commando can do attitude, Tony graduated from Musicians institute. He returned to the UK and attended the American musical Theatre Academy of London which upon graduation was awarded the colleges musical theatre award. This has led him to performing in shows such as We will rock you, Tommy the rock opera and Madam butterfly at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Writing has always been a passion and Tony has composed music and lyrics for Royal Caribbean’s new musical, Effectors, for Icon of the seas and a musical that ran at London’s Charring cross theatre as well as writing his own musical.
Keeping the old Commando skills at hand he has also since worked as a military technical advisor for Disney, Marvel and Warner brothers. Working with the stunt teams, Hollywood actors and some of the biggest directors in the world, Choreographing military action scenes on productions such as The Kings men, Fast and Furious and Marvels Secret Invasion.
Tony’s show takes you on a musical journey with touching and humorous stories of how he went from Commando soldier to leading roles in musical theatre. Playing guitar and piano performing rock, pop and blues songs from some of the biggest artists of our time.
