The Kings of Soul & Swing: Two guys! Two incredible voices! Having too much fun! Hamilton: The Musical star Julius Thomas lll and lead singer of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Mark Kopitzke join forces for some of the greatest popular hits of all time. Julius is a NAACP Theatre Award nominated, Broadway/Tour veteran having appeared in Motown The Musical, Porgy & Bess, The Scottsboro Boys, Shrek The Musical, Xanadu, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular: Featuring The Rockettes, and more. His popular TV show appearances include shows like Modern Family, Sesame Street, and The Capitol Fourth Celebration. For the past ten years, Mark reverently evoked 1940’s nostalgia, tallying over 200 performances with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. He also enjoys residencies at Disneyland with the high energy band, Phat Cat Swinger. And regularly stars as lead singer with the Long Beach Municipal Band, Tom Kubis Big Band, and retro soul band, the Groove Empire Orchestra. They are both accomplished recording artists. Mark’s debut album How to Wear a Bow Tie is a hit with audiences, and Julius’ song of inspiration, I Am Here is available on iTunes (Proceeds benefiting Broadway Cares). Together, they have appeared with the Cape Symphony, and the Bay Philharmonic. These two powerhouse vocalists leave no genre untouched.
