Tarun has performed Stand Up comedy all over the world. He has produced many Standup shows from his first Solo Show Curry Muncher to his 5 star show Existential Gentrification of Tarun Mohanbhai and the Sellout show Uber Funny.
Tarun has previously won Raw Comedy Quest and been the winner of Best Show (Now called the Fred Award) at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. And was nominated for the prestigious Billy T Award the same year as Rhys Darby (But they both lost out to a lesser-known comedian at the time).
He appeared doing stand up on Comedy Channel in Australia from the Melbourne Comedy Festival and appeared in Multiple series of Pulp Comedy in New Zealand and was also on Choppers Republic of Anzakistan when screened in New Zealand and Australia.
Tarun has also devised multiple plays D’Arranged Marriage, From India with Love and Cornershop Confessions. All 3 plays toured extensively around New Zealand. From India with Love went on to tour through Asia and South Africa and D’Arranged Marriage went on to tour Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Canada, UK and selling out at The Sydney Opera for 14 consecutive nights.
