Award-winning Canadian-American crossover soprano Tanya Roberts has performed over 75 opera, operetta and musical theatre roles worldwide, including appearances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Lyric Opera Chicago, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Banff Centre, Lyrique-en-mer, Tel Aviv Vocal Arts Festival, and The Ohio Light Opera, among many others. A native of Toronto and graduate of McGill University, Tanya’s indefatigable case of wanderlust has taken her to 65 countries, half of which she toured to as a member of the inaugural Opera on the High Seas cast with Azamara. When not onboard, Tanya lives, wines, and dines in New York City with her husband, Metropolitan Opera bass, Ned Hanlon.
