About

Suzanne crosses stylistic borders and musical boundaries with great ease and beauty, which gives her music making a world wide appeal. The exquisite velvety tone Suzanne produces from her silver flute has been heard by thousands of people across the UK on BBC television and Radio where she has performed numerous times.

Concert halls across the world glow and Symphony Orchestras sparkle with Suzanne’s unique, radiant sound. Critics talk of Suzanne’s “breath-taking virtuosity”, “her elegant stage presence” and they describe her as “a captivating soloist”. Taking singing lessons and studying piano by the age of four, learning the clarinet by the age of eight, at nine playing the pennywhistle and at ten, Suzanne heard the unmistakable sound of Irish Flautist James Galway. From that moment on she knew she wanted to play the flute. Suzanne’s studies took place in Manchester, England at Chethams School of Music, the Royal Northern College of Music with Peter Lloyd ( where she graduated with honours) and finally at the Paris Conservatory with Alain Marion. Whilst studying at Chethams, she had the good fortune to meet and study in Switzerland with her mentor James Galway, who was enchanted by her playing. Recent concerts include appearing as Concerto soloist with the English Chamber Orchestra at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London and performing Principal Flute with Britain’s longest established orchestra, The Halle Orchestra, in many of Britain’s finest concert halls.
