Sean Kent is a critically acclaimed standup comedian known for his riveting onstage performances and as the host of the popular political podcast the Tennis Nerd Podcast. Sean is currently on tour performing to packed houses world-wide. A “comic’s comic,” he is known for never performing the same show twice and has been described as having “an urgency not seen in comedy since the likes of Bill Hicks”

Sean’s cutting edge social commentary is followed daily by tens of thousands on Twitter. He is guest commentator on the Stephanie Miller Show, and his comedy has been enjoyed by millions on Showtime, NBC, ABC, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Fox and most recently as the star of A&E’s prime time series Modern Dads.

Die-hard fans come to multiple shows (current fan record is nine shows in one weekend!), knowing they will never see the same act twice as Sean reacts to current events in real-time and leaves his audience breathless as he riffs on everything from world history and technology to parenting and relationships.

Sean is one of only three comics in history to win both of the most prestigious comedy competitions in the US, San Francisco International CC and Seattle International CC. All three of his original albums have received rave reviews from fans and critics alike, and can be heard on Sirius/XM, iTunes, All Comedy Radio, Pandora, Jango, Spotify and other outlets.

Sean has written for a variety of TV Shows including Fox’s The Best Damn Sports Show Period, A&E’s Modern Dads, NBC’s Yes Dear, and Comedy Central Roasts. Other recent TV credits include his Showtime comedy special, headlining “NickMom Night Out and a series regular on two seasons of Last Comic Standing. Sean has performed in numerous comedy festivals including the prestigious Aspen Laff Festival, the Laughing Skull Festival, and Gilda Radner’s Laugh Fest.

Sean is a two-time cancer survivor and regularly performs at charity functions, including Will Farrell’s “Cancer for College” benefit and the Annual City of Hope Bone Marrow Transplant Reunion (where Sean received his successful transplant).
