Petrina's extensive career has spanned many aspects of the entertainment industry, including musical theatre, TV, radio, recording, and songwriting.

She was part of the original cast of Manilow’s ‘Copacabana’, where Barry Manilow remarked, “She has everything to become a star!” She also worked with Petula Clark, who exclaimed, “I love your voice!” and Rita Moreno in ‘Sunset Boulevard’ at London’s Adelphi Theatre.

Petrina played Patsy Cline in “Always Patsy Cline”, performed at The Edinburgh Festival in “Get A Life”, toured with Gary Wilmot in ‘Music to Watch Girls By’, and featured on his BBC TV series “Showstoppers”. Her other television appearances include The Laurence Olivier Awards at the London Palladium, ‘Better Late’, ‘South Today’, and ‘Children In Need’. She also embarked on a TV presenting role for Gemporia, presenting on their USA channel, and was a popular contestant on Channel 4's "Come Dine With Me".

In the Lloyd Webber Gala, Petrina played Eva Peron (Evita), Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Grizabella (Cats), and Norma Desmond (Sunset Boulevard). She played Debs in ‘Boogie Nights’ at the Blackpool Grand Theatre alongside Jimmy Osmond.

Petrina has headlined at prestigious venues such as The Talk of London, Drury Lane, Lakeside Country Club, The Grosvenor House Hotel, The Sheraton Skyline Hotel, and Caesar’s Palace.

Her recording work includes albums she has written and performed, as well as two albums for Polygram. She was the lead singer in Celtic Spirit, performing on the Portuguese National Lottery. On Capital Radio, she was a soloist on the ‘Russ and Jono Breakfast Show’ and recently had her original track “Find Myself Again” played on Nashville Worldwide Country Radio.
