The reigning ‘Female Artist of the Year (2018, 2019, 2020 ACE Awards), and multi-award-winning vocalist, Monique Montez has performed in many facets of the entertainment industry. From musical theatre and cabaret to television and the corporate world, her diverse career spans over 26 years.
She has performed lead roles in productions such as ‘Saturday Night Fever’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘Dusty’ and ‘Fiddler On The Roof’. Most recently, Monique has played the role of Daniella in the sellout season of ‘In the Heights’ at the Sydney Opera House.
Launching her production company – Mama Montez Productions – in 2014, she has co produced and toured her own shows Damn Good Divas, Liza meets Bassey, I’m Every Woman & The Real Thing – a confronting autobiographical cabaret which featured as part of the Sydney Fringe Festival in 2017, gaining rave reviews.
Currently Monique is touring her latest production “Forever Young” in Australian cabaret venues, theatres.
