Growing up in 1970s South Australia, Michael Griffin’s insatiable curiosity led him to explore a wide range of interests. As a teacher, he earned numerous awards, including one of the state’s highest teaching honors. Michael’s impressive skill set includes three university graduate and post-graduate awards, authorship of eight books, single-figure golfing, advanced scuba diving, and a passion for camping and surfing.
Beyond that, he’s an international conductor and concert pianist, with recorded classical music CDs, and has even performed for celebrities like Muhammad Ali. Michael, who has performed and presented in over 35 countries, including prestigious schools like Eton and Rugby in the UK, maintains a passionate interest in oceanography and maritime history. His life experiences and insatiable curiosity result in captivating presentations.
