About

Mark is from Glasgow and made his professional debut in the original UK tour of Les Miserables where he played Marius. Mark has since returned to Les Miserables playing Enjolras at the Palace Theatre, London and again on tour. He also performed at the show’s 10th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Other leading roles in the West End include; Chris in Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), and in the highly acclaimed comedy review, Forbidden Broadway (Jermyn Street and Albery Theatres). Other career highlights include; Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar (R.U.G. UK Tour, 2001), Quasimodo in Notre Dame De Paris (Dominion Theatre), Black Goes With Everything (Churchill Theatre, Bromley), the title role in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Oldham Coliseum), the Duke in Jazz Rigoletto (Lillian Baylis Trust with the English National Opera), Late And Lyrical (Jermyn Street Theatre), the title role in Mr Lollipop (Paisley Theatre), Johnny in Fascination Waltz (Glasgow Ramshorn theatre),The voice of Matt Munro in Moments of Magic (UK Tour), Evita (Larnaca Amphitheatre, Cyprus) and the world premiere of Eric Woolfson’s Poe, the only musical to be performed and recorded live at the world famous Abbey Road Studios, he has just finished playing Jeb in Showboat at the Albert Hall.

He performs internationally as a Big band singer and has fronted as the voice of the “Songs for Lovers of Swing” Big band at the RSNO proms at the Usher Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert hall. He has also had the pleasure of guesting aboard various, luxury world cruise liners including the QE2. Lead male vocalist with The Spirit of Broadway Uk tours, India and Spain and Manhattan Nights singing the songs of Neil Diamond.
