Mark Kopitzke, a vocalist with a time-traveling voice, seamlessly shifts between evoking the Great American Songbook's nostalgia and the next moment, takin’ those ol’ records off the shelf and gettin’ downright funky with them. The former lead singer of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, he witnessed the global adoration for big band music. Now, with The Kings of Soul & Swing alongside Broadway star Julius Thomas III, Mark conquers symphony circuits and high-seas cruises. His solo cruise shows, "Hollywood Swing" and "RETRO: A Back to the Future Jam,” bend time through jazzy cinematic masterpieces and musical icons of the 80s. At Disneyland Resort stages, Mark “The Tiger” Kopitzke performs with the Brian Setzer-esque little big band, Phat Cat Swinger, bringing timeless charm to “the happiest place on earth.” As the mysterious “Agent Milan,” Mark’s band The Secret Agents, faithfully recreate iconic sounds of 1960s swing, pop, and R&B, with Mad Men style and Bobby Darin flair.
