Mark Hussey is a world-class solo classical, flamenco and jazz guitarist. After abandoning a career as a post-doctoral scientist at the University of Oxford, Mark’s dedication and passion for world music has transformed him into a formidable guitar virtuoso, a true force of nature, evident in his live shows which are always unique and relevant to their location.
Almost entirely self-taught. Mark is equally comfortable performing traditional Spanish, Greek, Anatolian and South American music forms as well as assimilating a vast repertoire of modern jazz, classical and even rock guitar.
Still dedicated to his development, Mark’s attention to detail in every note is unmistakable. His performances are suited to both daytime and evening entertainment and are always passionate with a touch of light-hearted humour.
