Sister Twist are a female harmony group who have created two fabulous shows where songs you know and love have been given a little twist. The girls met whilst performing in London’s West End and have been performing collectively and individually for many years, entertaining audiences in their thousands across the UK and worldwide. Their shows, ‘Magical Misstery Four’ and ‘Twisted Rock’ are huge hits with cruise and corporate audiences around the world having been described as a ‘breath of fresh air’. Magical Misstery Four is their unique tribute to the Beatles and Twisted Rock gives you a musical makeover of some classic rock anthems from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
These girls specialise in taking songs originally performed by male artists and bands but present them in their own unique style with brand new and exciting renditions of classic hits. After all, when you mix together an opera singer, a soul diva, a jazz singing classical pianist and a pop princess it’s bound to create a colourful musical experience like no other. Not only are Sister Twist renowned for their exceptional vocals, the girls have created stunning and complex arrangements, layering their shows with intricate harmonies and vocal tricks to bring a whole new meaning to songs you all know and love. And the trick is, they make it look so easy!
These fantastic shows performed by some very talented ladies have been thrilling audiences internationally whilst at sea on cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America, Saga, P & O, Prestige and Princess, they’re also a regular feature with Warners Leisure Hotels but performing Magical Misstery Four in Liverpool for Ricky Tomlinson was a definite highlight.
MAGICAL MISSTERY FOUR, a unique tribute to the Beatles as you’ve never heard it before. From Soul to Motown, Jazz to Big Band, Gospel to Opera these girls have mixed together musical genres that appeal to each of their vocal styles and have merged them with one of the greatest male bands of all time. With so many amazing songs to choose from they’ve used medleys to include as many as possible and have managed to fit over 20 songs into one 45 minute show, but most importantly, they are giving audiences around the world a whole new Beatles experience and even bringing a new meaning to some of the Beatles’ classics.
This show can be booked as a four piece to backing tracks or with a live band or stripped back to just four voices and a piano where the intricate harmonies and vocal tricks in these stunning and complex arrangements really stand out.
TWISTED ROCK is a musical makeover of the best rock anthems from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Audiences experience songs they know and love but in a very different way. Queen, Led Zepplin, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, the Eagles and many more performed by four female singing sensations. This show delivers hit after hit after hit fused with complex arrangements and intricate harmonies that they make look easy! Featuring their unique take on ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ and an impressive live version of ‘Bohemiam Rhapsody this show is available as a four piece to backing tracks or with a live band for up to a 1 hour show.
