Kaitlyn’s interest in music began at the tender age of nine, she then went on to study voice, violin, flute and piano at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Growing up her love for traditional Celtic music took her all around the world, appearing many times on national radio and television. Winning numerous awards, including British and World Champion on the penny whistle and Celtic flute.
Making her first professional appearance at the famous Gaiety Theatre in Scotland, Kaitlyn went on to appear in several musicals throughout the UK including, The Sound of Music, Little Shop of Horrors and The Boyfriend.
Kaitlyn’s vibrant new show takes traditional music to a new and modern level. From the haunting sounds of her ebony flute to the rhythmic rock of her tin whistle, this is progressive Celtic music at its absolute best! Combined with her enchanting voice, exciting violin and endearing personality this show is a guaranteed success.
Such is Kaitlyn’s talent, she recently signed a three album recording contract. Her debut album ‘The Spirit Of The Glens’ has just been released Worldwide to critical acclaim and marks her first assured steps into what promises to be a long journey along well loved Celtic paths.
