An entertainer and an expert on stealth crime, he is the only person to have picked the pockets of the Mayor of London, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Governor of the Bank of England. No wonder then that his hands have been insured for £1 million.
Funny and fast fingered, his one-man show, James Freedman: Man of Steal won critical acclaim at The Edinburgh Festival and last year enjoyed sell-out runs at both the Menier Chocolate Factory and Trafalgar Studios Theatre in London’s West End. He has entertained at the London Palladium, 10 Downing Street and has appeared by Royal Command on several occasions.

In the corporate world, James is in great demand as a speaker on the subjects of crime prevention, social engineering and fraud where he uses his performance skills and business knowledge to change employees’ awareness of risk and reduce companies’ exposure to fraud. He has advised the Metropolitan Police and been appointed by the City of London Police as the UK’s first Fraud Prevention Ambassador. In this role James works with the police to raise awareness of modern stealth and cyber-crime across the UK.
