About

Heather Ivy, Internationally acclaimed Modern Classical Soprano, has made a career cruising effortlessly through Broadway, Opera and Pop favorites. She dazzles audiences with her personal stories of her Texas roots, singing around the world and finding love at sea! From Bocceli to Broadway, Fuare to Frank Sinatra; her versatility and genuine warmth shines through everything she does. Her professional career began with the Broadway International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, followed by sold out solo-shows at NYC’s famous venue, Don’t Tell Mama. Since then, she has performed in multiple musicals and operas around the US such as Christmas Wrappings (Off Broadway), The Producers, The Music Man, Cabaret, Don Giovanni, Elisir d’Amore and Le Nozze di Figaro. As a frequent concert soloist, Heather has appeared with the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic, and Gulf Coast Symphony and Fort Myers MasterSingers Orchestra, as well as Naples, Bonita Springs and Venice Concert Bands. She recently traveled to Toulouse, France to perform in Les Stars de la Magie, a magic spectacular! While earning her Bachelor of Music from Oklahoma City University, Heather studied under Florence Birdwell, the legendary teacher of Broadway stars, Kristin Chenoweth and Kelli O’Hara. Heather is now based in Naples, Florida, with her husband (former 1st officer!) and their dog, Skipper. While not traveling, Heather owns and operates her private voice studio Heather Ivy Music, and guest teaches at Florida Gulf Coast University and Opera Naples. She enjoys connecting with audiences both on and off the stage, and sharing her “Love Boat” story with the world.
