Dennis Daye is an internationally renowned and accomplished pianist and recognized for his sensitive touch, musical versatility, and thrilling virtuosity. He was born in Luhansk, Ukraine where he first performed with an orchestra at the tender age of eight. Later, growing up in Toronto, Canada, he expanded his musical horizons to include jazz, salsa, and pop. Among the classical composers, he considers his favourites to be Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Scriabin.
Equally at home with elegant classical compositions, exciting Latin American rhythms, and foot-stomping rock’n’roll, his dazzling technique, warm comedic stylings, and groovy rhythms will leave you thrilled.
In addition to the piano, Dennis adds multi-instrumental variety to his show by playing the accordion, ocarina and trumpet – the latter, at the same time as the piano!
When not performing himself, Dennis works as a musical arranger and producer for vocalists and instrumentalists of all genres.

He draws musical inspiration from countless genres, influences, and generations.
