Born and raised in Rochester, New York, David is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano Performance and a two-time consecutive winner of DownBeat Magazine’s Student Music Awards for Outstanding Performance by a Jazz Vocalist.
From Off Broadway productions to Dueling Piano’s in Las Vegas and Cruise Ships around the world, David has been enlightening audiences with his talent as a pianist, singer and entertainer of a large variety of musical styles.
He also performs his own tribute show to the “Piano Man” himself, Billy Joel. He has toured the country most recently finishing a highly successful 3 week run in his hometown at the prestigious Geva Theatre and venues such as the House of Blues and Harrah’s Casino.
When not performing as “Billy Joel,” David performs “Dueling Piano’s” regularly at the Wynn/ Encore casino in Las Vegas, hand picked by Steve Wynn himself. He also writes and composes his own music.
