An enchanting evening of some of the most beautiful music ever written with virtuoso flautist Clare Langan
Clare studied at The Royal Academy of Music, London. Her eclectic repertoire spans concertos to solo recitals, to chamber music and most recently to a classical cabaret show. Always keen to push the boundaries of the conventional ‘Classical World’ her effervescent personality and glittering costumes delight audiences everywhere she performs. Clare’s philosophy is that Classical music should be fun and a joy to listen to and watch!
Showtime is Clare’s chance to share her passion for music of all types and to demonstrate the versatility of the flute. People often remark that they never dreamt a flute show could be so interesting, entertaining and varied! Clare constantly varies her programme to fit her audience, historical anniversaries and in the case of shows on cruise liners, the destinations visited; when in South America lets have a tango, when in Spain a hint of Flamenco – you get the idea!
